The Political Science Department and the Department of Journalism and Communications at St. ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ are co-sponsoring a public forum to discuss the Canada-US Trade War and its possible economic, political and social effects in the two countries. Professors Tom Bateman, Shaun Narine (Political Science) and Jamie Gillies (Journalism and Communications) will present their thoughts on issues such as how Canada can push back against the US, how the politics of the conflict are playing out in the US and Canada, and what the long-term impact of this trade war may be at the international level. The main purpose of this public forum is to address questions that audience members may have about this growing threat to Canada’s independence.
