Biography

Dr. Daniel Meister completed his graduate studies at Queen’s University, where he was awarded a Joseph Armand Bombardier CGS Doctoral Fellowship, an Ontario Graduate Scholarship, and a Graduate Student Scholarship from the International Council for Canadian Studies. He then held a Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of New Brunswick, where he also completed a Diploma in University Teaching. He has formerly taught courses in History and Liberal Studies at Queen’s and courses in Political Science at UNB. In addition to his appointment at Ðǿմ«Ã½, he is also employed as an Archivist in the Private Sector Records unit of the Provincial Archives of New Brunswick. An active member of the archival community, he currently serves as Secretary-Treasurer of the National Archival Appraisal Board.
